A few years ago prior to me getting sick I created a really nice waterfall and pond in my back yard. Its a small pond intended only for goldfish and for noise. However, I never added fish to my pond as of yet, my intentions are to add them. After I got sick I had to spend the next couple of years recovering from a back surgery and cancer so I have not fooled with it much since then. I got the opportunity to review this product at a deep discount and it has given me new interest in my pond again. Soon I plan to start reconstructing my pond and waterfall as the elements have made it necessary.
   I was really excited to get the fountain, it was small so it was just the right size for my pond. It came with two adapters that you can attach hoses to if your pond is deep. My pond right now was just the perfect depth without using any tubing, but deeper ponds you will find it necessary. it is very easy to operate. just place the pond in the water, totally submerging it. If you don't totally submerge it you will damage the unit. Then just place the ring of lights around the area where the water comes out and plug it in. It has some of the most beautiful colors and it illuminates the water coming out. So you get shades of blue, red. yellow, orange, etc..... It is a lovely fountain and it too puts of the soothing sound of running water that I so love. I provided a video to show you its function, keep in mind my pond is in bad need of work, but I was still able to highlight the fountain and its beauty for you. I also found it very affordable. Now this pump is for a smaller pond, if you have a larger pond you may want to consider a larger size. Great for small ponds, a birdbath, a small waterfall or a handmade item, etc. Small enough to be completely camoflauged in the water of the pond.
